GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Behind the Bar Barbell class that strengthens your entire body.  This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls
Boot Camp This class is the ultimate for the cross-trainer, challenging your agility, speed, strength, and endurance.  You’ll never be stuck-in-a-rut with this experience.  Minimal choreography, maximum intensity. (1 hour)
Cardio Circle An amazing calorie burning workoutg that's taught in a cirlce format. Under the watchful eye of your Cardio Circle Class Instructor you will learn the proper form and function of quick cardio drills and resistance training together in one weight loss cadio workout.
Dance 101     Slow it down some and join in with dance moves choreographed to each song focusing on Core Strength, Flexibility and Balance.  Beginners to advanced, this class will keep you moving and having fun at the same time.
Dance In Action     Turn up the music and groove! Dance rhythms working muscle tone and body balance. A combination of various moves of dance such as belly dancing, jazz and free form. Continuous movement for All Levels that keeps the heart rate up!
Core Ball A workout on the stability ball incorporating balance, core stability, upper and lower body strength.  (1 hour)
Kickboxing A dynamite workout proving effective for the entire body.  A cardiovascular challenge promoting endurance and strength using bags.  Gloves are strongly suggested.  Please arrive ten minutes early for equipment setup if you are new to Kickboxing.  (1 hour)
Pilates This mat inspired workout utilizes a unique system to create a power center while allowing stretching and lengthening of your muscles.  Will improve posture, increase flexibility, and improve balance.  For all fitness levels.  (1 hour)
Muscle Fusion/Sculpt Total body strength class using weights and tubing.  (1 hour)
Pi-Yo The perfect blend of Pilates, Yoga, sports stretch, dance stretch and athletics that will help you burn calories and build muscle
Senior Strength A strength class designed for those who wish to stay fit forever, using weights, tubing, and resistance balls.  Special consideration will be given to those who are not able to use the ball. Staying mature and motivated!  (45 minutes)
Spinning A stationary cycling class designed to nurture all fitness levels.  Before you know it, you’ll become a spinning “junkie”.  Please arrive ten minutes early for equipment setup, or ask the front desk about Spin 101 if you are new to Spinning. (50 minutes)
   
Step Using the step, and lots of options, this class will keep you flowing through some awesome choreography.  Work up a sweat and forget the hour has gone by!
Tai Chi A low impact, mind-body Chinese discipline to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. (1 hour)
Trekking A treadmill class on the cardio floor!  (40 minutes)
   
Yoga Introduces the ancient discipline of personal development that balances body, mind, and spirit. We will learn a series of physical postures as well as practical methods for relaxation, proper breathing, meditation, and concentration that promote health, alleviate stress, improve skeletal alignment, and increase muscular strength and flexibility.
Zumba Zumba combines high energy and motivating Latin and International music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away your worries. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
