Membership Types

Individual Membership
An Individual Membership consists of one person only. A spouse and / or children are not included in this membership, but may use the club as a guest of the member in accordance with the Club’s rules and regulations, and by paying the prevailing guest fee for Club use. The individual must be at least 18 years of age (or 16 if a parent signs the contract, signs a release waiver, and guarantees payment). If a dependent* child is added, the membership becomes an Individual + membership. Spouses are not eligible to be added onto this membership (a couple membership would take it’s place).

Couple Membership
A Couple Membership is offered for a husband and wife living in the same household. Children, age 12 and older are not included in this membership, but may use the Club as a guest of the member in accordance with the Club’s rules and regulations, and by paying the prevailing guest fee for Club use. Same-sex couples do not qualify for this membership. Add-ons for this type of membership are not permitted (a family membership would take it’s place).

Family Membership
A Family Membership includes a husband and wife and their child(ren) under age 19 and residing in the same household. Adult children do not qualify, and upon attaining age 19 will need to be placed on their own individual membership at the prevailing rate. This can be done without initiation fees and should be handled through the business office. Adult children who do not wish to initiate their own membership may use the club as a guest in accordance with the Club’s rules and regulations, and by paying the prevailing guest fee for Club use.

A dependent child is defined as a child living in the same home who is 18 years old or younger. This may be extended until the child’s 22nd birthday if the child is still claimed as a dependent and is a full-time student. Proof of being a full-time student may be required. All decisions regarding the definition of “dependent child” for membership types and rates by Cordova Athletic Club Management are final.

Senior Membership
Special Individual and Couple senior rates are offered for members age 62 and over. This membership does not apply to families.

Student Membership
The Student Membership applies to members 18 to 22 years of age who are enrolled as full time students at a college or university. Appropriate student ID is required. A Student member would have his / her own membership account and agreement. All decisions on this membership qualification and rate by Cordova Athletic Club Management are final.
